Business Ready Licensing

The Business Ready Licensing model and the Business Ready Enhancement Plan for Microsoft Dynamics introduce simplification and improvement to the licensing and maintenance programs for Microsoft Dynamics GP.

The Business Ready model is based on two new categories:  Business Essentials and Advanced Management.  While these are roughly equivalent to the Standard and Professional levels, there are some meaningful differences.  And, while existing clients are not obligated to migrate to the new editions, migrating may yield significant short- and long-term advantages. 

We’ll walk you through the ins and outs of the new model as well as the pros and cons of migrating. 
 
Dynamics GP Version 10 Preview

Release 10 continues to enhance some of the role-based features that were introduced with Release 9 and focuses new attention on the integration of universal Microsoft applications such as Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  GP 10 had significant added functionality in the areas of document workflow, structured and unstructured searches, and business intelligence (BI). 

The new release contains refreshable Excel reports based upon the 175+ SmartLists favorites. This evolution will let those who so desire to use Excel instead of SmartLists for ad-hoc query. There will be an addition 100+ out of the box reports for SQL Reporting Services as well as numerous new report types to the Report List.  And, new publishing, scheduling and sharing capabilities, including more seamless report publishing to Business Portal.  

There are more new features than we could possibly elaborate in this brief invitation, but we will attempt to cover as many as possible during our sneak preview.  We hope you can attend this free session.
