Altico Announces Promotion of Vice President and Director of Operations
Marlborough, MA – June 22, 2007 – At the Altico Advisors (www.AlticoAdvisors.com) annual meeting today, Altico, a Microsoft Certified Partner, announced the promotion of James (Jim) Hickey to Vice President and Director of Operations. Hickey, who holds a BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, previously held various positions as a consultant, project manager, and business unit manager for a national value added reseller in the Microsoft channel.
His experience includes the design and execution of implementation methodologies and best practices. He has also served as IT manager for a small professional services firm. Hickey is a CPA with more than five years of experience in public accounting serving small to midsize businesses in a variety of industries. Over the past five years he has overseen numerous implementations of Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains) in diverse business sectors including technology, financial services, manufacturing and wholesale/distribution.
Richard Maloney, Altico’s CEO, had this to say about Hickey’s promotion and service to the company: “Jim has been part of Altico since before we opened our doors for business.
