Altico Plans Inaugural Dynamics GP User Group

Ask 5 people to define “User Group” and you’re likely to get 5 pretty different answers.  That’s because the activities of user groups do vary considerably.  Some user groups are quite structured while others are more informal.  Some include product or vendor presentations, others are more along the lines of a discussion forum, an opportunity to share experiences and ideas about the products being used, and a vehicle for promoting a community among related users – in this case, Altico’s Dynamics GP clients.

We’re proposing that this inaugural user group meeting will be largely informational and organizational.  We will seek your input on questions that will determine the format and logistics of future meetings:

• With what frequency should user group meetings be held?
• Should the group always meet in the same location? 
• If so, what is most convenient for most people?
• What should Altico’s role be?  Facilitator, organizer?
• What time slot works best for everyone?
• And of course, what format (structured vs. informal, with or without presentations, etc)?

Whatever the answers turn out to be, one thing is certain:  A user group cannot exist without user participation.  Come give us your input and help make this and future user group meetings successful.
